How I Recreate Aquamarine Color in Handmade Jewelry

Inspired by the Mediterranean of the Var

In this 44-second video, I show you how I recreate the magnificent color of aquamarine to create my handcrafted jewelry. A shade that reminds me every day of the crystal-clear blue of the Mediterranean Sea that surrounds my beautiful Var region.

Mediterranean inspiration

Living in the Var region means having the privilege of being surrounded by the infinite shades of Mediterranean blue. From deep azure to vibrant turquoise, these colors inspire me daily in my studio. Aquamarine, with its blue-green reflections reminiscent of seawater, perfectly captures this Mediterranean essence that I wish to convey in my creations.

The artisanal creation process

Reproducing this unique color is a true technical and artistic challenge. In my workshop in the Var region, I test different techniques and materials to obtain this very particular shade that evokes the crystalline waters of our beautiful Mediterranean coast.

This aquamarine color can be found in several of my creations, including my glitter fish tassels and my sun tassels , all handmade with passion.
